Onus: something that is one’s duty or responsibility.
On us: about us, about this group.
On U.S.: about America.
1. Simultaneously an exhortation to, a proposition for, and a celebration of the stakeholders.
2. A probing and an amassing of the questions we ask ourselves as the political landscape of our country shifts shape.
3. Perhaps, a protest.

On US
This is not a statement. It is observation, a probe, and a query. Are we sated yet?
Well, maybe this is a protestation. To the jacked-up, oversized pickup truck with oversized flags mounted to and waving from the truck bed that I encountered on the road outside of town, it may be a retort. Here is my flag. Here is my claim, my stake, my share.
This is what I’m saying: This is mine. This place is mine. This land is my land.
